Volunteers needed: JHTM research symposium and hackathon
April 15, 2021
CAUTHE’s Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management (JHTM) will soon begin to organise the annual Research Symposium to take place late 2021. The event will be held online due to the continuous implications of COVID-19. However, this will allow JHTM to internationalise the event’s program and expand its reach and scope. The symposium will also include a Paper Research Online Hackathon, an annual event that JHTM began in 2018.
We are in the process of seeking volunteers to help with the organisation and implementation of these online events. All volunteers will be recognised officially for their time and efforts, and it is aimed that these positions will be a great professional development opportunity for all those involved.
If you are interested and have the time to volunteer, please send your expression of interest to Prof Marianna Sigala (Editor-in-Chief, JHTM) by Monday 26 April 2021.
In your e-mail, please provide information about the skills, knowledge, time and ideas you can offer in the organisation of these events. Scholars with skills using Zoom for online events, are highly sought. For any questions please refer to Prof Marianna Sigala.
