CAUTHE 2024 – 34th CAUTHE conference

Theme: Diverse Voices: Creating change in tourism, hospitality and events
Date: 6-9 February 2024

The 34th Annual CAUTHE Conference was hosted by the University of Tasmania at The Hedberg, Hobart. The conference aimed to showcase opportunity for change in tourism, hospitality and events, globally and within the region. A total of 247 delegates attended, 208 papers were submitted, with 182 presented at the conference. This was comprised of 34 full research papers and 141 working papers. Of the 182 presented papers 7 were presented in poster format as visual presentations.

Program

The program brought together professionals, researchers and students to discuss the latest issues and challenges happening in the field. Prominent international and local speakers provided fresh perspectives on current topics, relevant to a broad range of tourism stakeholders including the tourism industry.
