CAUTHE offers four categories of membership. Chapter and Affiliate membership is offered to institutions and organisations. Associate or Student membership is available to individuals who are lecturing, conducting research or studying in tourism, hospitality, events or a related field.

Affiliate membership is available to an organisation which is affiliated with hospitality, tourism or related fields.

Criteria
An organisation which is affiliated with hospitality, tourism, events and related fields both within Australia, New Zealand and internationally. For example, an institution outside Australia and New Zealand, an industry body, a tourism or events organisation, a hospitality establishment or a publisher.

Chapter Membership
Chapter membership is available to institutions in Australia and New Zealand which are involved in tourism and hospitality education and research. Each Chapter is allowed to nominate a member of the Chapter to the position of Director to the Board of Directors of CAUTHE.

Each Chapter is allowed to nominate a member of the Chapter to the position of Director to the Board of Directors of CAUTHE.
