The Prof Philip Pearce Award for the CAUTHE Conference Best Full Paper is granted for the best full paper submitted and accepted for the conference.

The Best poster award is granted to the paper voted as the best visual presentation (if offered), at the annual conference. It is judged by delegate vote and/or by a sub-committee of the Conference Committee.

The Best PhD Scholar’s Paper award, presented in memory of Bill Faulkner, is granted for the best full paper submitted and accepted for the conference with the student as the primary author.

CAUTHE offers bursaries to support attendance at the annual conference. Applicants must submit a full refereed paper and statement outlining the need for funding. The winners are presented a certificate at the conference.

The Fellows Award is given each year to an academic from Australia or New Zealand who is seen to have made the greatest contribution to Australasian tourism, hospitality and/or event education or research from those who have been nominated.

The Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management (JHTM) makes awards each year to the authors of a best paper and two highly commended papers, best PhD paper and highly commended PhD paper and the best reviewers of the year.

The Hospitality & Society Award is open to all full hospitality papers submitted and accepted for the annual conference.
