CAUTHE and SMAANZ are delighted to invite HDR scholars to submit proposals for the HDR conference to be held from 8:45am-5:00pm at Southern Cross University, Gold Coast campus, Queensland on Monday 15 July. For more see 2019 CAUTHE Mid-year meeting.

The event will provide the opportunity for students to present work in a formal setting, gain feedback from academics and network with other HDR students. The program will also include a panel of senior academics. The session is open to academics and postgraduate students (Masters and PhD).

Presentation proposals

Proposals are to be a maximum of 300 words (title and body all inclusive). Please complete the attached presentation proposal form and return it to the CAUTHE Student Representative, Isabella Ye by 11:55pm on 30 April 2019.

CAUTHE bursaries

CAUTHE Student members, as of 31 March 2019, are invited to apply for a bursary assist with attending the Mid-year HDR conference. The bursaries will provide the opportunity for existing student members, who live outside south-east Queensland, to participate. Bursaries are available for $250 and up to $500 (depending on location) to contribute to flights and accommodation. To be eligible for the bursary, applicants must submit a presentation proposal. The application form must be submitted with the presentation proposal, to the CAUTHE Student Representative, Isabella Ye by 11:55pm on 30 April 2019.
