We welcome all delegates to this year’s SIG meeting. To begin the session we will be hearing from Eliza Raymond, co-founder and Director of Operations for GOOD Travel. Eliza holds a Master of Tourism from Otago University, New Zealand. As the former Executive Director of the Global Volunteer Network Foundation, Eliza has travelled to over 30 countries and published widely on tourism.
Eliza will share with the group her background in voluntourism and how GOOD Travel developed as a result of her experiences working in the voluntourism sector. She will also talk briefly about GOOD Travel’s vision for ‘tourism for tomorrow’.
We hope that this will provoke some lively discussion on the future of tourism and volunteering.
