CAUTHE Annual Conference

Each year CAUTHE holds a research conference which aims to:

  • Bring together tourism, hospitality and events (TH&E) professionals from academia, government and business to promote informative, stimulating and challenging discussion on the latest issues in the field
  • Discuss recent methodological innovations in the fields of TH&E
  • Provide TH&E educators and researchers with an opportunity to receive feedback from peers to improve research quality and educational output
  • Provide a vehicle for TH&E educators and researchers to establish dialogue with industry, government and community representatives.

CAUTHE 2017 – 27th annual conference

The CAUTHE 2017 Annual Conference will be hosted by the University of Otago’s Department of Tourism in Dunedin, New Zealand from 7-10 February 2017.

CAUTHE 2015 – 25th annual conference

Theme: Rising Tides and Sea Changes: Adaptation and Innovation in Tourism and Hospitality

Southern Cross University’s School of Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM) hosted the 25th Annual CAUTHE Conference, at the Gold Coast campus in its 25th year. This truly was a Silver Jubilee Event!
