Professor Sara Dolincar was honoured at the recent 2016 47th Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA) Annual International Conference to receive the Charles R. Goeldner Article of Excellence Award for the Best Paper published in the Journal of Travel Research in 2015.

In 1985, TTRA initiated an award to recognise the best article published in the Journal of Travel Research during the preceding year. In 2001, this Award was named in honour of the founder and editor of the Journal, Charles R. Goeldner.

The Charles R. Goeldner Article of Excellence Award is named for the long-time editor of the Journal of Travel Research. This prestigious award is given to recognise the most significant work in the Journal of Travel Research during 2015.

No entry is necessary.  This award is presented to the author(s) of the article which is judged to be the best appearing in the Journal of Travel Research during 2015.  This award is determined by the JTR editor and his/her committee. Sara is the second CAUTHE member to receive this award, with Prof Geoff Crouch having received the award in 2012. Congratulations Sara!!
